Template:Disambig

This template is to be used on mainspace disambiguation pages, as a way to generate them in a standard and uniform manner for the various games that need one.

In case there is the need of them, edge cases like Proto:Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are allowed in the Bugs, Data, Development, Lua, Notes and Proto namespaces, however.

The disambiguation page is also automatically categorized in Category:Disambiguation only when using this template in the mainspace and the namespaces above, so there is no need to use nocat=true when used elsewhere (e.g. in the userspace).

If a page belongs to multiple console versions of the game, there is no need to duplicate the link for each console, just alter the link text to mention all of them (e.g. like how was done on the Bejeweled 3 disambiguation page).

Optionally a link to the series category can be included alongside the games' ones if the title of the disambiguation page matches it (e.g. like what happened about the Bejeweled disambiguation page).

Remember that if only a single page about a game exists there is no need to make a disambiguation page, even if the game's title matches its series' one, and if too many pages exist (more than 9 pages) make it just as a redirect to its series category instead.

Lines 3-9 are meant to be used for more page links like the ones in the first two lines and optionally can contain indentations and text between them, as shown in the example below.

All the parameters not needed can be safely omitted when using the template.

Cleanup

Disambiguation pages with less than 2 entries will be automatically categorized into their cleanup category. Another one for disambiguation pages with more than 9 entries exists too and the categorization will be automatic also in this case.
