A Room is a term used to describe a map of linked screens. For example, Area 1 contains as much as 5 rooms: Exterior, first comunication room, interior, second communication room, and boss room. The level data in Bionic Commando is stored such that each room has its unique data. Each room can have a different background music for example. Rooms are linked together using door data. (I havent figured quite how that works yet, working on it). Room data is used for levels as well as certian scenes (intro cinematics, ending, dialogue screen and so on).
