In an attempt to capitalize on the success of the Matrix trilogy, someone has created a ROM hack for this game called "The Matrix." You can find this at http://www.i-mockery.com/romhacks/matrix/default.php
However, the actual gameplay is loosely based on the film. Instead of playing as Mr. Anderson, the player plays as a generic hacker who tries to collect files from apartment buildings with red doors in order to find important information that can help the humans fight against the machines and defeat them once and for all.
