There have been many hacks for Super Mario Bros. Some hacks have become very well known, while some hacks are considered by many to be not worth downloading.
Data Crystal-featured Hacks
The NES graphics and characters are replaced with Atari 2600 graphics and characters. Also contains a new 2600-related storyline.
The Transformers are on an epic quest to save the day once again. The object of the game is to defeat the evil robots to bring world peace.

A total remake of all the levels in Super Mario Bros.
