I noticed that sometimes for the word hexidecimal, it is spelled as "hexadecimal." Is there a difference?

The culture section was fun, but if it is to remain in this article, I think it needs to be expanded to give more interesting information. Also, I didn't include this in the article, but I noticed as I was writing it... anybody else see the analogy of encoding to reverse-engineering as differentiation is to integration? Going one way is simple and done always using the same rules, but going the other way, though you have established patterns to go by, you've got to beat the problem down with raw ingenuity to get it to bleed out that solution you've been looking for. Or maybe I'm just at math saturation again.
