The Capcom Play System 2 or CPS2 is a Arcade System follow up to the Capcom Play System 1 (CPS1) and the Capcom Play System 1 Dash (CPS1'). Hardware uses a custom Motorola 68000 for game logic and a Z80 to handle sound hardware.

Most common set up is

  • .1 and .2 — Z80 Program Roms not interleaved
  • .3 through .10 — 68000 Program Roms not interleaved
  • .11 and .12 — Sound Samples

Graphics roms is a bit special.

  • .13 .15 .17 .19 — first half of graphics interleaved
  • .14 .16 .18 .20 — second half of graphics interleaved
