We here at Data Crystal are all about hacking ROMs. If you're unfamiliar with the subject, take a look at our Introduction to Hacking.

Data Crystal seeks to be a centralized repository of hacking knowledge not specific to any one game, series, or system. If you have the greatest or the smallest finding about whatever game you like to hack, add it to the site. As the community grows, Data Crystal will become the repository of all known hacking information.

Because the wiki is still in its infancy, decisions are being made regarding conventions and the direction of the site. These discussions have been categorized as Community Discussions, and your input is welcome.

The official IRC chat room of Data Crystal is #datacrystal on irc.synirc.net. Be sure to check out our sister channel #romhacking.net as well.

For legal reasons, we do not host roms or emulators on Data Crystal, nor do we provide links to ROMs.
