Castlevania II - Belmont's Revenge is a side scrolling platform game part of the Castlevania series, building upon the success of its predecessor for the Gameboy, Castlevania: The Adventure. It was followed by Castlevania: Legends, also on the Gameboy, which seems to have reused a large portion of the code -- so hacking knowledge about one game may be helpful for the other.
