::From looking at Wikipedia list pages (List of lists), it seems like they either have a corresponding category or the list's subject (ie: List of Aboriginal communities in Canada) is so obscure that it does not really deserve a category. == Renaming RAM/ROM map pages ==
While it would require a lot of work without a bot, I'm suggesting to rename pages from the style of Game:RAM Map to Game/RAM Map. Under the latest versions of MediaWiki (I'm not sure if 1.12 is included), it will be recognized as a subpage - one effect this has is the creation of an automatic link from the subpage to the parent. Details behind this should be found in the Mediawiki manual. --69.165.158.12 23:05, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Are there any naming conventions for hack pages? Should Super_Mario_Odyssey_Demo be prefixed with 'Hack' or the game name? --Labmaster Talk 02:01, 26 Oct 2005 (EDT)

The convention so far has been to just give it a regular name page, and put it in the Game's category...perhaps this should change.--Gau 03:42, 26 Oct 2005 (EDT)
Has any decision been made on this? I'm quite willing to do the donkey work and rename all the pages that would be affected. --Dan 13:23, 2 March 2006 (EST)
I think just leaving the page name as the hack's name is fine unless there is some reason to do it differently? --AnyoneEB 20:23, 2 March 2006 (EST)

"List of" pages

What is the official consensus on "List of" pages like List of Super Mario World hacks or List of EarthBound utilities? Should these be done by categories instead, or is this way okay? --Mr. Tenda 23:11, 2 November 2005 (EST)

I have feeling that categories would tend to work better for those, but "List of" pages allow you to "request" a page by linking to it. Where there are "List of" pages, there should almost definitely be a corresponding category, but it may be okay to have both. Maybe check how Wikipedia handles it? --AnyoneEB 08:13, 4 November 2005 (EST)

Okay, thank you for checking that out. (I was posting during Math class, so I could not check. :-D) --AnyoneEB 17:39, 4 November 2005 (EST)

Renaming RAM/ROM map pages

While it would require a lot of work without a bot, I'm suggesting to rename pages from the style of Game:RAM Map to Game/RAM Map. Under the latest versions of MediaWiki (I'm not sure if 1.12 is included), it will be recognized as a subpage - one effect this has is the creation of an automatic link from the subpage to the parent. Details behind this should be found in the Mediawiki manual. --69.165.158.12 23:05, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
